Law School Exam Notes Template (Basic)
🏆 I was top in 13 law papers at AUT and I accredit heaps of my success to my ingenious, colour-coded and concise exam notes. For the first time ever, due to popular demand, I am selling my law school exam notes template!
✨ Never wonder about how to make your law school exam notes again - use this template every time!
🙇🏼♀️ Overcome procrastination by filling in the template for each subject from the first day of classes.
This template includes:
- A 12-week notes template, designed with 12 harmonious and appealing colours;
- Information on how to format, style and make the notes your own;
- Tips for using Microsoft Word;
- Advice for organising your time in exams; and
- Tips for how to make the notes in an easy way.
😊 I seriously wish that I had created this template for myself while I was still at Law School! I used to reinvent the wheel for every paper. It was inefficient. If I had this template, I would have started creating my exam notes straight away in a super lazy and relaxed way. This would have made my life so much easier!
➡️ I also sell a notes template that includes three flowchart designs and a design for laying out elements. This product is called Notes Template (Complete).
🗒 How I came up with this template design
One of the hardest things about studying law is understanding the bigger picture of a topic.
During my studies I spent countless hours researching how to learn, retain and structure information. I was also a lecturer in Communication Studies and a magazine editor, so I already knew a lot about designing information. Eventually I cracked the code and made the most easy-to-understand, beautiful, well-structured notes that I’ve ever seen.
I repeated my notes formula throughout my degree. It worked well – really well. I was the top of 13 papers and the top-graduating student in my cohort. Almost every single grade I received was an A+. And I managed to do all this while not being a study hermit. Throughout my degree I always worked (sometimes full-time) and I also had a baby.

Of course, my success isn’t all due to my notes. But my notes definitely improved my grades a lot, especially my exam grades. There were a few subjects that I didn’t make notes for, and in those subjects I received my worst grades (which was like an A-, but still).
