🥇 I was the top student in Company Law at AUT thanks to my incredibly comprehensive, 33-page notes.

🗒 Why these notes are incredible

One of the hardest things about studying law is understanding the bigger picture of a topic.

During my studies I spent countless hours researching how to learn, retain and structure information. I was also a lecturer in Communication Studies and a magazine editor, so I already knew a lot about designing information. Eventually I cracked the code and made the most easy-to-understand, beautiful, well-structured notes that I’ve ever seen. 

I repeated my notes formula throughout my degree. It worked well – really well. I was the top of 13 papers and the top-graduating student in my cohort. Almost every single grade I received was an A+. And I managed to do all this while not being a study hermit. Throughout my degree I always worked (sometimes full-time) and I also had a baby.

Of course, my success isn’t all due to my notes. But my notes definitely improved my grades a lot, especially my exam grades. There were a few subjects that I didn’t make notes for, and in those subjects I received my worst grades (which was like an A-, but still).

🗓 These notes were created in 2019 while I was studying at AUT. Although I cannot guarantee that they are an up-to-date account of the law, the cases and principles covered are all still relevant. Some of these concepts are thousands of years old and will not have changed dramatically in the past few years. However, the notes may be missing a few cases and potential developments made post 2019.
