Hi! I'm Julie

πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’Ό A qualified lawyer, lecturer in Communication Studies, former top law student and award-winning journalist.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Currently I'm a full-time mum to my two little kids and I live in Australia.

βš–οΈ I believe the law should be accessible to everyone - including law students. This belief fuels Julie Schmidt Law, as my goal is to make the law as simple and easy to understand for law students as possible.

πŸ“ So far I have helped thousands of students get better grades at law school through selling notes, tutoring, YouTube videos and free newsletter.

Meet Eve

πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Eve is a fifth-year, double-degree law and business student at AUT.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» Eve tutors students in a range of subjects, including: contract, torts, legal reasoning and writing, public international law, indigenous law and the law of democracy.

🧠 Eve is remarkably inquisitive and intelligent. Her genuine curiosity and interest in law makes her a very special tutor.

πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Eve is excellent at helping students understand tricky legal concepts.

🌎 Eve currently lives in NZ. She is available for online tutoring and can be flexible with times and dates. She would love to help you better understand the law!

Meet Neel

πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ« Neel currently works as an Associate Lecturer in Law. He has been a law lecturer for over six years.

πŸŽ“πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Neel completed his LLB with Honours at the University of Bristol in the UK (undertaken under a state scholarship).

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ He was also the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright scholarship, which enabled him to study for an LLM (Masters in Law) in Human Rights and Social Justice at the University of Connecticut in the USA.

πŸ‡³πŸ‡Ώ Neel is completing the bar in New Zealand. He successfully completed all of the New Zealand Law and Practice Examinations on the first attempt.

βš–οΈ Neel aims to make quality legal education available to students worldwide, fostering a community of empowered and informed individuals.

πŸ’ͺ Neel is a dedicated educator with a passion for empowering others through knowledge.

Meet Nadia

πŸ–Š Nadia is Julie Schmidt Law’s official editor.

πŸ“ After getting a BA in writing, Nadia discovered a passion for editing. (So if you want a heated discussion about Oxford commas or the appropriate use of elongated hyphens, she’s your gal.)

πŸ“š She has worked with various authors and genres as a freelance editor.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ« She ensures Julie Schmidt Law keeps its authentic and relatable style, while still being grammatically correct.

πŸ˜‡ Nadia is also a full-time mum of two little boys and an all-round incredible person. We love having her positive and intelligent mind on our team.
